1. Overview

ScreenStreak ("the App") is a screen time reduction tool available on iOS and Android. It is built on a simple premise: you enter your own data, it stays on your phone, and no one else ever sees it. This Privacy Policy explains what information the App handles and how.

2. Information We Do Not Collect

ScreenStreak does not collect, transmit, or store any of the following:

• Personal information (name, email, phone number, age)
• Screen time or usage data from your device
• Location data
• Device identifiers or advertising IDs
• Crash reports or analytics
• Any data sent to external servers

3. Data You Enter Manually

The App requires you to manually type in your screen time numbers. This data — including your baseline, daily usage logs, taper settings, streak history, and Time Saved — is stored exclusively using local device storage (AsyncStorage) on your phone. It never leaves your device.

We do not have access to this data. It is not backed up to any external server. If you delete the App, all data is permanently deleted from your device.

4. Notifications

If you choose to enable daily reminders, ScreenStreak requests permission to send you local push notifications at 8:00 PM. These notifications are generated entirely on-device — no notification content is sent to or processed by any external server. You can disable notifications at any time in the App or in your device Settings.

5. Screen Time / Digital Wellbeing API

ScreenStreak does not use Apple's Screen Time API or Android's Digital Wellbeing API. The App cannot read your screen time data automatically. All data entry is manual and intentional.

6. Third-Party Services

ScreenStreak does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or data collection services. There are no SDKs from Facebook, Google, or any other company embedded in the App that collect user data.

7. Children's Privacy

ScreenStreak is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children. Because the App collects no data at all, it poses no privacy risk to any age group.

8. Data Retention and Deletion

All data is stored locally on your device. You can delete all App data at any time by using the "Reset App & Start Over" option within the App's Settings, or by deleting the App from your device entirely.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted at this URL with an updated date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
